Hi, I would really appreciate some suggestions for an IEM that works really well with classical music, and can be good with other stuff as well. I listen to mostly classical, though, so that is definitely the most important. A lot of symphonies, chamber music (string quartets), piano, etc., so I'm really looking for good detail, texture, separation, and sound-stage if possible, while not being cold.
Right now I'm using ATH IM70 and while they work well with other genres, they just really don't work for classical in my opinion. Too much bass and not enough separation and clarity. Before I had these I had JVC FXT90 and I much preferred those -- much more clarity and separation. But I would still like to get something better now.
Here are some options I'm looking at; let me know which ones you guys think would be the best, or make another suggestion! I mostly listen out of ipod classic with FiiO Fujiyama or straight out of iphone 4.
Hifiman RE-600
Dunu DN1k
GR07
Ety HF5
Havi B3
Yamaha EPH-100SL
Thanks!
Edit: Added Yamahas to the list of considerations.
