Hi all.

Looking for a pair of decent IEMs

I could go higher than £50, maybe £100~ if it's actually worth it for a sansa clip+ and are durable.

Will be listening to mostly 320 mp3 and maybe a few flac.

Bit of a newbie to the World of headphones etc, but I did buy a pair of Klispch s4i couple of months back. (I don't own an ipod, I made the mistake of thinking it would work for android as well as iphone. I'm now using them on my laptop instead)

Not keen on buying another pair of S4s, as the sleeve has already split, only after a few months daily use.

I have done a bit of reading, and PL-50s is one in the running I guess.

I'm guessing i'm looking for clear vocals (opera), but colourful(/warm?), something good for listening to piano and orchestras, and a decent low but pretty clear for the low points in classical music.

Is it possible to get a decent pair for IEMs, which are more durable than the Klipsch s4s, but are more suited to classical, opera and vocals for £50~, or would I have to go higher?

Cheers

Do they need to be IEMs?

JVC-HA-S500 folding on-ear headphones, in the USA they sell for $56 (36GBP).
Can be order and shipped from Japan.

Hi PurpleAngel,

Sorry for the delayed response, been a couple of hectic days.

After reading another 50~ pages after I posted (the first 100~ pages I read previously as a newbie was literally just noise),
I ended up buying a pair of Ety HF5.

Thank you for your reply though :)
