Need some advice on a set of headphones that work best with an iPhone while commuting. I take the train to work (1 hr each way) and listen to music on my iPhone 5S on the train. Also listen to music while at work, using the iPhone. Don't have a DAC or amp to use with the iPhone.
Priced $200-$500 would be nice.
Never had a set of cans before so looking for a good set to get started.
Been reading about OPPO PM-3 and NAD VISO HP50. Previous were Etymotic Research ER23-HF3 that my dog ate.
Have Focal components in my car with a JL Audio sub and Alpine amp. My home theater is Integra DHC 80.2 with Outlaw amps, with an Oppo BDP-83 and Samsung plasma. Speakers are Salk and Klipsch speakers and JL Audio subs.
Musical taste is just about everything except C & W. I have jazz, pop, heavy metal, classic rock, and opera in my music library.
I'm an audio enthusiast.
