Just got a desk and I can finally set up a desktop listening station. Have a Schiit Modi 3 + Magni 3 stack but wanted to venture into the world of tube amps.
Budget around $150-200.
What might be good starter tube amps that will pair nicely with my DT 880 250 ohms?

consider the valhalla 2. you may be able to find one used within your price range

Garage 1217 makes some nice little amps haven’t heard the Starlight but the Project Ember is a very nice amp as well but more expensive. Another amp that I haven’t heard but seems to get some love is the Loxjie P20 it is a balanced Hybrid amp that seems about the same power as the Starlight when using balanced.
Also if you can solder the Project Starlight has a DIY version that would save you a few bucks also.
