Hello
I haven't been on the forums here for about 5 years, since I haven't been commuting, and haven't had a need for portable headphones.
New job, so I'm looking for recommendations for a new set of headphones.
I'm looking for something fairly large, preferably 40mm or more driver , either on ear or over ear.
They must be closed and have minimal or no leakage.
I'll be using a Headstage Arrow Amp (6NX), so efficiency isn't really a concern.
I previously had some Audio Technica ESW9, which I loved, before I broke them. People say they are slightly lacking in bass, but it was plenty for me. I tend to prefer a more neutrel, or slightly warm sound anyway.
Audio Technica have tended to be my go to brand over the years, so I've been looking into ATH-MSR7. 45mm driver, over ear would probably be my ideal size. They seem to be quite well thought of, but I am interested in any alternatives out there.
I am really out of touch, so just a few pointers to get me started would be a great help.
