Anyone have a recommendation for a cable cutter??

Am interested in making some ICs, power cords. Am currently looking at cable that's shielded and was wondering what the folks here have had success with for cutting the cable and cutting the layers away without going all the way through the cable.

You can buy special purpose cable strippers, however a single edge razor blade, patience and practice will do an excellent job for half a dollar.

I'm with AndrewB. You don't need to spend money on a specialized stripper/cutter for power cords. Unless of course, you're going into the business of selling power cords.
