Hi guys! So I've never really posted here before, so here goes.
I'm looking for a portable USB DAC around 150 dollars. The three that I've been looking at are the AudioQuest Dragonfly 1.2, the HRT MicroStreamer, and the Meridian Explorer (1st Version). I'm looking for the DAC that would ultimately give me the best increase in sound quality for the buck. The headphones I'll be using with them are primarily my UE TripleFi's, UE6000 headphones, and the Grado SR80i. I've never used a DAC before, and I wanted to try my hand at them to see how they are, and if they really improve the noise up at all. These 3 seemed like they got the best reviews around this price range, and I just want to keep it between these 3.
And just some random questions, do USB DAC's break in a short amount of time, or do they generally last long, considering that you take care of making sure that you're not dropping it and stuff? Like, do you have to replace parts or anything like that over time?
