Hello, I'm still pretty new with this thing so I wanted to hear what you guys had to say. I just ordered a iBasso D2 which I was gonna use mainly for my laptop, and I was wondering if getting a sound card would improve the sound at all. I was thinking of getting the Audigy 2 ZS for notebook. Does the soundcard work together with the dac/amp on the D2? Also I wanted to get some decent recommendations on a notebook card that is not too expensive.

The D2 should be all you need. Use is for a while and determine if it meets your needs.

The D2 will function as an external sound card for you using it's USB interface and your notebook.
