x2 on Muddy Waters folk singer. Heard somewhere that Muddy didn't want to do this but they kinda made to cash in a bit on the folk revival in the 60s! Its a great recording too and if you have a good vinyl set up, the vinyl version is breathtaking.

John Lee Hooker "the healer" is also excellent, but is not all acoustic.

lol! Agreed. I always considered rock and country to be sub-genre of blues.
