excellent call - if you like Josh, check out another Nashville friend - Neilson Hubbard - in particular The Slide Project if you can find that record

Grand Archives, Boticellis and Grizzly Bear arent to my taste. Looking into the other suggestions asap. Thanks for bringing them to my attention.

OMG I love Shearwater- Rook

What a beautiful album! My new favorite, it's been playing constantly! So beautiful. It reminds me of Midlake mixed with Damien Rice and then there's something else too. nice one!

Many thanks for that recommendation! Thoroughly enjoying this album, care of Yahoo! Music (while it's still alive, that is).

As for indie/folk music, check out the album "In the Aeroplane Over the Sea" by the band Neutral Milk Hotel. It's mindblowingly good. Hard to categorize, but i'd say its Psychedelic Fuzz-Folk.

Checked out most of what you all recommended. Iron and wine was pretty good but it didnt struck a chord with me. I know I know, Im hard to satisfy. Well, im glad that Ive found Tulsa! No runners up unfortunately.

Edit: Wait! Iron And Wine-Lovesong Of The Buzzard EP.. IS pretty catchy. Technically and sonically very good. Recommended to check out for yall.
