I picked up a pair of mint unused DENON AH-D750s today for $10.00. Really nice set of phones and price was right.

well good news I made the faithful decision of buying the JVC for $19 on Amazon and got my Toslink Optical cable at the same time for $7 to.

And imagine people here buy blue dragon cables for $230 US thats copper and I bought a Optical cable thats superior to those Blue Dragon and I only paid $7. LOL

Erm, well not really comparing the same thing; opitcal cable and analogue cable.

try the akg k55's. they're pig ugly, have been discontinued (replaced by the much nicer looking k512's), but have (in my opinion) more realistic bass tones than the HD201's, are more comfortable and don't tangle (because of the single sided cable)

i use them as my stand in's for my grado sr325i's, when i need a bit of isolation from my little brother, or when i'm playing the odd retro game.
