thanks to a friend's suggestion, i picked up some As I Lay Dying, and i've been rocking to them all day, and just figured out most(all?) of their stuff is spiritual, which is awesome to me as a Catholic...

any other bands out there with a similar sound and message out there?

old Zao. i think "where blood and fire brings rest" was their best though the song "resistance" was bad ass.

Don't know if they are metalcore, but EXTOL are a very good Christian metal band.

Still Remains is a religious band. Every band member thanks God first in the liner notes. Usually the religious association turns me off but I love these guys.
