Hey everyone,

I'm looking for a CIEM to use for music listening and noise isolation while studying. I would prefer something that is warm/neutral or perhaps slightly v-shaped, but definitely not bright. I have a budget of about $500. I would prefer to purchase from a US based company but am open to alternatives. Must be a custom since I have had bad luck with tips.

So Far I have found the following:
64 Audio A2e / $500
Ultimate Ears UE 5 CSX / $500
JH Audio JH 7 / $600
CTM CT-300 / $600

Also curious about the following companies:
Eartech Music
Alien Ears
Perfect Seal
Dream Earz
Alclair
Inearz
Westone

I would contact any company in your price range and ask if they have a demo. Things can just be tuned so different. Maybe see if you can find someone with the universal version of any of the ones you are looking into and meet up and try. If there is a dealer near you they might have a few.
