Hey folks, anyone got an idea of what'll be a good match for the MS-Pro?

Would be nice if the thing could drive hard-to-drive 'phones too.

...Or whatever works well with your RS-1s?

I predict there will be a lot of recommendations for the MAD Ear+

EDIT:
Anyway you I've got 2 amps for dynamic headphones (T-3H which is SS, and WA6, tubes).

RS-1s sound fine out of both of those... then again I've also tried them balanced from wink's 'mongrel' - so much better.

What's the difference in sound between your Talisman and the Woo (from the RS-1s)?

I think my Goldpoint does a very good job with the MS-1. It's a very versatile amp and I am sure you will love the DT770s through them.

fcklo could tell you how the HA160 does with the RS-1 and he has a lot of amps, Goldpoint included... (lol put people on table, I should feel bad).

IMO there are quite a few amps that match well w/ the Grado/Alessandro cans. For example:

1. Mapletree Amp.
2. Musical Fidelity X-Can V2 or V3 specially w/ the PinkFloyd mods.
3. Graham Slee Solo SRGII.
4, ALO Amphora amp.

The list can be quite extensive, ideally you should attend a meet to try various amps so you can make the decision.

I had the HF-2 and Grados from the Prestige series and was very pleased with how they sounded with the Headroom Micro amp and the GLite. The difference between the two amps wasn't as large with the Grados between the two amps but the GLite drove more the Senn HD650 a little better. The Micro amp was still excellent with the Senn though.

Apparently EC/SS and Gilmore Lite are very good with Grado's too.
