You won't find a regenerator for that price. The only regulator's that come to mind is the APC h15/h10 and used monster units.

The Monster AVS2000 is the regenerator to beat but its not 300. I think you are DIY savy maybe shoot Gilmore a PM and see if he'll send you his regenerator design.

You can sometimes find used PS Audio P300 (usually the older ones with the original multiwave) units on audiogon for a little over $600. Might be worth the extra cash to go that route.

I have my eye on a few Monster Units and PS Audio ones... we shall see what comes of it.. I could swing around $500 i suppose.

Go for one of those large APC units with AVR. $300 can easily buy a very good unit. It's unlikely that you'll need anything better.
