Haven't been listening for a few years and all regular hifi gear remain unused due to toddler takeover of mancave
At present, I'm considering an iBasso DX50 and IEMs for a budget of $500, no amp. Listening preferences include classical and jazz where acoustic tonality is more important than, say, heavy bass. Since last dabbling with headphones some years ago, choices have become more bewildering! That said, I just need a good starting point as I can imagine the limitations of the price point.
