looking for er6i clarity, maybe a bit laid back. these have too much isolation. its kinda dangerous to use outdoors. bass quality is more important than quantity.
i really like the ath-ad700 sound.

Maybe try a higher-end earbud instead of an IEM? The Yuin PK1 or PK2 are supposed to have very good sound, while allowing you to hear some of your surroundings.

oh yeah. i had the jvc ha-fx34s kramer modded. bloated bass got a bit punchier and cleared the highs a bit but still recessed mids. but isolation long those lines was perfect. i find earbuds uncomfortable. i still like a bit of isolation but not totally cut out from the world like with the er6is
