Hi guys,
I need to troubleshoot some background hum and noise issues in a vintage tube preamp that I am restoring.
To this effect I am thinking about using a headphone amplifier to help me listen to minute changes that may affect the noise floor.
The preamp's output will go to the headphone amp directly, so having a line in with RCA jacks would be a must.
I see some really cheap headphone amps from China like the Line5 A910 that are tempting.
I don't know if they are good enough for my application.
My budget must not exceed $100 including power supply.
Thanks!
