I'm looking to spend $150 or less on some speakers for college. Ones I can move around would be nice. Also I'd like it to have an ipod dock as well and a CD player. Suggestions?

Just buy a used midi system from pawn shop. Don't bother with nice stuff in dorm room it'll just be nicked, smashed, vomited on, bear spilled on....or all of the above.

Get a 90s Aiwa shelf system from craigslist. I've had 2 and for what they are, you can't do much better. My current one has 4 way speakers with a 200mm sub in each side, 3cd changer, aux in and cost a whopping 25 dollars.

Crazyjeeper, nice call! I might be picking up a 5 speaker aiwa stereo system next week for $30. Know anything specifically about this one: AIWA 6 Piece Stereo System

Looks very similar to one my parents had for a number of years. I'm fairly sure those are the same main speakers. They are 3 way, bass reflex and good for 90 watts. Should be a great system, especially for that price.

My only worry is whether or not it has an auxilary input on it.

I'm fairly sure it will.

Then again, if it doesn't, you could do what my old roommate did, and use a cassette adapter

I could but I hate the sound on those.

I wouldn't worry about it though, I'm about 95% sure it will have an aux in RCA on the back.
