Hey guys,
My FUN (that I have owned for a little less than a year now) recently just "cut out." I had the my FUN running as a DAC to my active speakers. The set-up went something like this, PC --(toslink)--> FUN ---> KRK VXT8. Then one day the audio just stopped working. I switched to the USB input, and that didn't work either. The headphone output isn't working either (I tested this by PC --(USB & Toslink)--> FUN ----> JH13s. Although when I turned the volume all the way up, you could hear a very loud static hiss (not floor noise) but a very apparent high frequency hum in the right headphone. I tried opening the chassis to take a look around, but honestly my knowledge of circuitry is very very limited. Things seemed to look alright on the inside (afaik.)
If anyone has any ideas on how to fix this, your input would be greatly appreciated.
*Also will post pictures of the interior of chassis if necessary.
Thanks
