Receiver for Mackie MR5

Looks like I may have posted my question in the wrong section. I've linked it below.

Please provide your inputs. Also most receivers I see are 8ohms. The MR5 specs say they are 4ohms. Do I run the risk of blowing them if i use a regular receiver? Also do I need a regular receiver to run them well?

These are active - you don't need another amp...except perhaps a preamp if you wanted to use multiple inputs...otherwise you should have just got passive speakers

Any more suggestions please....I intend to have two different streams for my speaks and headphones. But if I can use the same components for both it will save me on cost.
