This probably isn't news to anyone, but importing one is no problem. As far as I can tell, they aren't available here yet.

I placed an order at http://www.advancedmp3players.co.uk/shop/, specified international delivery, paid with my credit card, and had no problems. I ordered on 12/30/05, but they were closed until 1/5/06 because of the holidays. The order shipped as soon as they opened on 1/5/06 and I received it today.

It's here and it seems pretty great.

Im also considering to order one from them, waiting for the 2gb though.
But lots of the new players shown at CES made me hesitate.
Let us know if you get problems with the software or anything else.
