Ok well I'm sure you experienced people see these kinds of threads all the time and I just wanted to get help choosing a computer speaker system for under $250-300
I originally was thinking the klipsch thx promedia 2.1 speakers but I wanted to look here for help before I purchased anything.

The later batches of the Promedias seem to have a QC/design flaw such that peeps are having them die off far sooner than usual? A great place/guide for tips on buying speakers based on SQ/build quality:

Studio Monitors that have active crossovers for the price you cant beat them, used you can defintiely find many in your price range
