I saw the box saying MS2 were cabled with UPOCC copper cables whereas the MS1 was cabled with only copper cables. I was wondering if recabling with UPOCC cables were worth the improvement in sound.

Also I was wondering if anyone had recabled their MS1 or grados to have the cable come out one side only. Was wondering if this had more privileges, cause it seemed more convenient for me.

Would the strain on one side of the head be too great to support the MS1s?

You'll need to have a run of cable coming from one side to the other side, which uglifies things.

I was thinking of tucking the cable into the headband. Or use a Beyer headband.
