My MD-33's, which I really like, have died. The wire to the right bud has worn out. Has anyone recabled earbuds? Is there an easy way to do it? Where can I buy headphone cables that are just the cable (and preferably a nice one, like Audio-Technica uses) without any connector?

Optionally, does anyone do this for fun/profit? For a fair price I'd be interested.

Actually, in trying to make my md33s into 3 pole, I more or less messed up the plug. I'd actually be interested in recabling too if anyone has experience with the Sharps and can give some advice. (even got some star-quad and a 1/8" Canare plug in the mail yesterday!)
