Wheres the best place that wont cost me an arm and a leg to get this done?

This is also the reason I got the D5000's over 7000's a 1/4" adapter is easy to install... a 1/8" adapter on a 1/4" jack not so much...

Cost effective and quick...http://www.custom-cable.co.uk/sennheiser-adapter-6.3mm-socket-to-3.5mm-plug-en.html

Seems pretty much as easy as 3.5mm to 6.3mm, just plug it in and done

Yeah except its 5 times the size of a 3.5 - 6.3 and Grado/Dennon/Sennheiser give you a 3 meter cord permanently attached to their headphones.
