Has anyone had the opportunity to listen critically to a Koss recabled with the Senn HD600 cable? Has anyone compared a DIY recable to a recable using the Senn cable?

I'm waiting for someone to tell me how to do it. I have a ksc75, and a senn HD650 cable that has already been tinned.. I don't have a multimeter or voltmeter so that makes it hard too.

Alright, I'm not quite ready to let this die just yet because I'm sure some of our DIY'ers out there at least have an opinion.

i own a pair of 75's and friend on this forum ([AK]Zip) who i work out with for a while had the 75's that he modded and recabled (DIY). I also have a pair of HD650s.

i have to say his mod and cable defiantely gave clearer, harder better bass and overall sharper qaulity. Likewise his vs. mine were clearer and felt more fluid.

Is it worth the upgrade? in my opinion... no. my KSC-75's are a beater pair. i dont care enough for them. it might be different for you and you may love them.

650 vs DIY? i hate the 650 cable. listen to the 650's with stock cable vs recabled. Its night and day (IMHO). I'd say stick with DIY or have someone do it for you.
