Recable/Woody D2000 or Step up to D5000/D7000?

No worries. I have my eye on a Headroom micro Amp/DAC. Just all the talk about the Denon's makes me question the phones a lot. But ya, the amp/dac was going to be my first purchase anyway.

Yea I would like to try that DAC/Amp too, it was just a wee bit too expensive for me.

I think you will be better off going for the D7000. They are more efficient and much better sounding that either the D2000 or D5000.

Look at my signature for all the headphones I have. The D7000 are my favorite regarding sound. The wooded D2000 http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f4/den...dition-345659/ are my favorite in looks and the DX1000 are my favorite in comfort.
