Hey! As per title, I'm looking for a pair of headphones, I love the bass of merlins and the good highs so can you recommend anything good for my tastes? Maybe b&w p7 or ath-w1000x?

I don't think that I'll use an amp and I'll use fiio x5 and a macbook with them. Open or close ? Hmm don't really care about that

FiiO X5 has a decent headphone amp in it that can drive many headphones better than most computers. So you do have an amp
