I've had my pm3s for 6 months and I love them but I want more. More spacial, more bass, clearer mids. Is there anything in the $800 range? I use them with an ifi xDSD.

I'd suggest the audio technica MSR-7 / MSR-7B. The build quality is less than that of 800 dollar headphones, but I think the sound would be just what you are looking for.

Mmm i think msr7b has just slightly more bass than msr7 and that is little, not better mids than oppo imo, but Msr7b has bigger soundstage, vocals are better in oppos i think
