I got these Realistic Nova 30 headphones from a second hand a while back and I'm wondering, does anyone know anything about them? After a bit of research, I came up with the possibility of it being a very very early rebadge of some early Audio Technica headphones, made in Japan for Radio Shack and they were released in 1971 which leads to be skeptical about them being audio technicas because, according to their website, AT didn't launch their first headphones until 1974. Anyone know anything else?

Well I'm listening to them now and man do they have some great bass for being so old. Because of my very limited knowledge I won't comment on anything else except that they sound extremely 'narrow' (best word to describe it) or close.

What kind of source and amplification you have?
you can probably make them sound nice if you plug them to an EQ.

I have a Denon AVR-2800 Receiver that's it. I tried them on our newer Yamaha HD receiver (don't remember the model, too lazy to check) and they sounded terrible, but on the Denon they were great.
