Hello everyone!

Before I get started I want to say I'm now over 100 posts!

Anyway, I right now I use | Source => Fiio E5 => (Grado SR80s/Zagg z.buds/Koss KSC75) |

It works really well, but as I learn more, I want to try more out/upgrade my setup. We all know how that feels.

So I'm thinking I'm going to order some HD600s to add to my collection unless the Grado announcement changes my mind.

I listen to a lot of alternative and synth-pop/rock...
The Killers, Modest Mouse, Passion Pit, MGMT, Weezer, The Postal Service
But I'm know to put on a Beatles or Led Zeppelin record now and then.

So here are a few questions:

What type of amp should I get? (Tube/Solid State)

For a beginner like myself, is it okay to use a portable amp as a home amp, too?

Will my SR80s/Z.Buds/KSC75s benefit from a new amp, too?

Well...what amp do you recommend?

A price range would probably be helpful - you could spend anything from $9 to $999 (or more)...
