RE2 is supposedly 90-day warranty replacement according to Head-Direct. So, I would say probably not. You should have emailed them since you would have to do that anyway. Maybe they will say yes. you don't know till you try. There is a Head-Direct forum section...http://www.head-fi.org/forums/f87/
