I have recently pulled my old UE TripleFi 10 out of the drawer and renewed my affection for them. However, it rekindled my dislike for their fit. So, two questions:

-I want to look into turning them into CIEM's, can anyone recommend a re-sheller?

-Also, can anyone recommend a good budget replacement cable? I think some have mentioned the Dark Lord, are both of these the same and is it still a good recommendation?

Also, never had CIEM's, would the signature pretty much remain the same except for better isolation?

Ok, what I've found so far for re-shellers is inearz, kozee and Lears. Anybody have any experience with them or others?
Any thoughts on the replaceable cable?

You might have better luck asking in the tf10 thread.
I know inearz is popular these days. Also Perfect Seal does a great job and have shorter lead time.

If you go for a reshell it might be wiser to ask for a different connectors 2 pin 0.78mm or mmcx instead of the 0.75mm 2pin from UE as it is easier to find replacement cables.

A thing to consider with going the custom route is that you might not get a perfect fit the first time around and will need to send them back for a refit. that's a process that is taking time and not always "fun"...

Yup, that's where I did post first.

And thanks for the tips!
