100+ Head-Fier
Hey everyone.
I have a pair of headphones from the mid 90's where the coating on the earpads became hard, sticky and all flaked off, leaving the bare foam underneath completely exposed. Without the coating, the sound has become very open air sounding losing most midrange and bottom end and any isolation. Is there any way to re-coat the pads? Some kind of dip or spray I can use to bring them back to how they were? The pads are not removeable.
