Hello all,

I did a search but can't seem to find the answer I am looking for.  I have a cheap lineout to rca cable for hooking my ipod classic and ipad to my headphone amp.  I hear a VERY slight hiss and am convinced its the cable.  My question is should I upgrade to a better cable?  Will it make a difference?  and is it worth the money?

I am looking at this cable

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0070WEM7S/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=A29BZ1S30D0GLZ

but at $78 will it be worth it?  I can get a shorter one for about $68.

AudioQuest makes good cable.  If it is a shielding problem and not your AMP, then getting the AQ is a good idea.
