I use the Solupeak ST42 and it’s worked perfectly. Doesn’t seem to introduce any unwanted noise, so I assume the U31 would also be good quality

I have two of these and they work fine. One is in my speaker set up and the other is in my headphone gear.

I just received one of these 2 days ago. Same use case as you, except 2 amps 1 dac. Solid build, rotary selector switch works well. Good deal!

I've used this one for a few months now, and I'm very happy with it. There is no cut out of the signal when changing in/outputs, which makes it ideal to A/B products.
