I have some gear where if I lightly tap the outer part of the female RCA jack it makes a tiny click / tap sound. This is just a physical sound - nothing to when with it's actual use. Nothing is loose (well, I guess something must have a slight movement) and everything works just fine. Everything is tight when connected. It's only on the exterior and not both left and right. A few different components do this.

Just wanted to check with people to see if this something that happens.
Thanks!

I tried tapping the RCA jacks on one of my amps and I think I hear what you're talking about. It's a very faint noise, barely audible above the sound of my finger tapping the metal? If we're talking about the same thing, I think it's probably the jack wiggling very slightly and moving whatever conductor it's soldered to inside the amp. Nothing to worry about, I don't think, unless you wiggle it so much that it comes un-soldered.
