I'm still a newbie to this stuff, but here goes.
I have a sound card (Asus STX) that has analog out through the line(RCA) and headphone(6.3mm) out. The RCA interconnect cable I own causes hum from the soundcard (line out) to my headphone amp. I was thinking, instead of buying a new RCA interconnect, would it be fine just to get a dual RCA to 6.3mm cable? Would there be any loss in quality by using that over a normal RCA-RCA Interconnect?
And what are some good brands that sell quality dual rca to 6.3 cables? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
