A relatively inexpensive upgrade to any system is a focus on improving your RCA connections. When we decided which brands to stock, we have focused on two award winning European Brands: QED and Atlas. Through the years both brands often lead the way with new cables and take away the awards for best RCA Cables, and this year is no exception.

The standard RCA cable from QED wins a best cable award from What HiFi Magazine in 2021, and the standard RCA cable from Atlas succeeds in the same way.

With a starting price of $79.00 the QED is a great upgrade for anyone.
The Atlas Element cables come in 1M and 3M lengths and are priced at just over $100.

And then if you are streaming 24bit quality audio you might consider the Reference Range from QED with a price-point of $159.

Finally, our higher end Atlas Cable, again in 1M and 2M lengths, is currently our flagship RCA cable, producing extremely clean audio at under $300. It is difficult to justify anything more expensive, but if we DO find anything, we will add it as appropriate.

When I have looked at higher priced cables than these, I honestly struggle to recommend (or stock!) them, and the improvement in quality is tiny for the extra dollars spent.

You might well consider these four cables that we are stocking right now and see how an investment of $100-$300 can improve your system sound.

And don’t forget that through the end of April you can use our launch discount code for fifteen percent discount for all Head-Fi Members: hf-atlas-15intro
