Hey all. Woot is selling the m100 (CX300) at 2 for $30. I'm in for a pair. It sold out in under an hour last time so just lettin' y'all know. These aren't amazing but definitely not bad as a toss around pair of canalphones. From all the reviews I've read, it seems as though these share more than just looks with the CX300. The m100 also comes with a snappy case and airplane adapter.

I really doubt that these are identical to a cx300 on the inside.

Given the price, and the reputation of razer, I'd be surprised if they're even identical to an ep630.

I dunno. None of the reviews online are very "head-fi" but they are all very positive. People on the woot forum who bought them last time were only have good things to say. Everyone likes the pouch too. I used to own the CX300 so I'll see if there is an immediate difference when I get the m100.

My roommate's er6 just broke so we each took a pair. Chances are they'll end up on the FS forum sooner or later since I keep on buying cheap canalphones and not using them thanks to my CK7 (and now ES7.)

carefull.
that the CX300/EP630/IE4/M100/MD33 might look the same but are all manufactured to different specifications, the creatives have stronger base and less seal then the CX300´s,

they are manufactured under the same roof and have the same casing, but the small details are changed from costumer to costumer, (sans/sharp/creative/razer)

"Frequency Response: 20 ~ 11,000Hz"
Yow... I sure hope that's just a typo...

I got mine on Monday, and the packaging says 6 - 23,000 Hz, which is greater than what's listed for the CX300s. So, there's a typo somewhere...

Haven't given them a critical listen yet, but my quick impression is euphonically bassy with a slightly-too-short cord. And they definitely go over 11k Hz.
