I haven't used the CAL!, but I have the Razers, and for the price they are not worth it.

I have yet to try a gaming headset that is worth the price, they all suck.

I can't fully recommend you a Razer headset without feeling bad inside. The only Razer products I would recommend are some of their mice and keyboards. I previously owned a pair of Razer Orcas which are practically the Characias without the mic and the left ear burnt out completely within only a few months of use after purchasing brand new. Aside from that I've heard that in terms of mic and build quality they aren't that great so I wouldn't waste the money on them.
