Gorgoroth - Quantos Possunt ad Satanitatem Trahunt

8/10

This is the first Gorgoroth album that really clicked with me. Rock solid songwriting from start to finish, but loses points for iffy production. Infernus turns in a great performance, alternating between cold, biting riffs and sickeningly brutal slow sections. The best songs: "Rebrith" and "Satan-Prometheus".

Chinese Man: The groove sessions Vol.2 8.5/10
This is my test new headphones album, must have heard it at least 1000+ times, was the first time I listened to flac. The only reason why I wont give it a perfect 10 is because I always skip a song on the album, its just not made for me.

The Phenomenal Handclap Band- The Phenomenal Handclap Band
9 / 10

"a sound that is equal parts anthemic, dancefloor-oriented and orchestral, borrowing elements from progressive rock, disco, electro, and psychedelia"

Constellations by August Burns Red-- 8.5/10

love all the songs here, but the second half the album just seems to be a little bit lacking in sound and lyrics compared to the first half.

jamiroquai - emergency on planet earth

cd-cover.jpg

8.5/10

intense funk and mellow smoothness all in one production, very similar to some of herbie hancocks stuff mixed in with stevie wonder

make it an emergency to get this in your collection!

I really like that album too. Have you heard the newest one by Old Canes, "Feral Harmonic?" I have it on my waiting to order list...

No, I thought it was just a one-off, kind of like the Ugly Casanova thing. I'll have to check it out! Thanks for the update. New Holopaw should be out now too.
