Anyway to get pics up of the non-remastered version of Hotel California to compare? I don't have the CD or currently the software to do it.

Audacity I believe. Exact Audio Copy is another one that can analyze WAVs.

That waveform of the Eagles remaster doesn't look that bad.There are far,far worst examples unfortunately .Check the Maiden remasters for example

Which one? I've heard the Imagine MFSL and it sounded quite good, but it's the only version I've ever heard.

Duggeh, some of the Led Zeppelin "Mothership" songs are remastered pretty good. The BEST by far is "Stairway to Heaven". It's some-what close to that MFSL graph on page one.


But the one I posted was the worst of all the songs I checked. About 40 so far..
