Hello, I'm curious how people rank different tube amps, and what they generally find to be distinguishing between a top-tier tube amps compared to lower.
If you can provide reason why you like your favorite tube amp(or even prefer it over solid-state), and please rank the tube amps you have tried, and if you can, please provide information about why you rank one better over the other, and if you have tried many, what your general observations regarding different tube amps that newbies should be aware of. An example would be, your experiences on OTL to Transformer coupled, and various impedance headphones(and you notice something consistent, how it interacts with input and headphone impedance, different type of drivers like planar or dynamic, amp topology, etc..).
