On the subject of amps, we'll be using an assortment of them to power Immanis and Magna for this weekend's Canjam Singapore (do join us if you're in the area):
SAEQ - Armageddon, Hyperion Ge, HSA-1b
Solaja Audio - VM-1a
Centrance - Amp Mini, Ampersand
Aune - S17 Pro, S9C Pro
So amp-wise, we should be able to get a good idea of how I & M like to roll after this.

Can't wait to get more time with the new SAEQ Armageddon!

I also can't wait to listen to Centrance Amp Mini and get a chance to meet Michael Goodman in Singapore!

Is the Armageddon an endgame amp (as in, the world ends when you turn it on)? 🤣
I have to admit it fired up my ‘chuckle-buds’ when I saw the photo. Alex has been so keen to emphasise how the new phones are no longer ‘power hungry’ beasts and can be driven by most normal headphone amplifiers using the interface; but then along come SAEQ with something that looks like it doubles as a nuclear fusion reactor at weekends. I’ve no doubt it will be very good but the name just made me smile. It’s the perfect amplifier for that once in a lifetime trip to The Restaurant at the End of the Universe (a very English book).

I wonder wether the Armageddons Design has been influenced by the Immanis.

Gold - black isn't all that common anymore nowadays

"24 step attenuator" that's written on it, is actually 42 spelled backwards!

Nope!
The Hyperion Ge had a golden volume knob and golden screws much before I knew how to design Immanis...

The internals definitely. Not sure about the black though. My favourite black/gold was from the 1970’s in the form of the John Player Lotus F1 car.
Actually, Datcha (SAEQ founder) had a working prototype before I had working Immanis.
But, his favorite tools are SR1, Thiel and Magnat speakers.
It just so happens that Immanus is great on Armagedfon.
JPS Lotus is my favorite, too!
