The R10 / L3000's for over $10,100 US? Break it down for me and it is still too much. What $6K / $4K?

$7K to $8k total figure $4500-$5000 / $2000- $2500 top end? Plus if buying a pair like that the Seller would have to give a bit. Part of the Top price would be a reputation to stand behind the items.

You are paying for things that degrade over time, it's unlikely they can be restored to their brand new condition, unless the factory restores. However I would buy them if I win lottery.

Everything degrades over time! But headphone drivers if treated properly last practically forever.
