Speechless and devastated. My experience with film would be a considerably poorer one without his influence.

second that: his reviews were by far the most reliably close to my taste, and they where well written to boot!

I always liked him. When a bad movie came out I always used to read his reviews online. He was a never ending thesaurus of colloquialisms talking about the movie explaining how bad it was. It always made me laugh.

He'll be missed.  Ebert had an elegant and accessible movie review writing style that was both insightful and poetic that made reading them a pleasure.  Siskel and Ebert were hugely influential on my movie watching choices while growing up and I hope they both still get their balcony seats wherever they are now.
