I decided to Order another pair of Grado SR60's with bowl pads..The black peice fallen off on the right side..the drivers were scratched.. I love the headphones so much! can't give up on them! thanks for ur recommendations on other headphone guys!

I had the same problem with my MS-1. Left driver died after a little under a year of light use. I made sure I took care of them. I'm actually working through the details of getting them repaired by Grado Labs. I hope I don't have to shell out the 30 dollar fee they are asking for. Doesn't the MS1 have some warranty? I got them straight from their site...
