Does the upgraded opamp on the Auzentech X-Fi forte work with the headphone output jack?

Would there be any point in replacing the opamp if the headphone output jack is being used?

Actually, im going to guess no.. Because for some reason with my HD595 the front output sounds better than the headphone output...

No. The replacable opamp is for the front channel output only.
